As a result of the merger of American Airlines and US Airways, American Airlines needed a new center to help facilitate remaining changes due to the merger. The 150,000-square-foot Integrated Operations Center and parking sits on approximately five acres, and as the civil engineers and landscape architects on the project, designs required Pacheco Koch to concept around existing campus data systems, dual utility services, and a hardened structure.
