Texas Rangers Urban Youth Academy: Providing children more opportunities through baseball and softball programs.
As part of an initiative and continued commitment toward making a healthy impact on the children of North Texas, the Texas Rangers made plans for a new Urban Youth Academy. The academy will feature four full-size fields, a tee-ball field, classrooms, batting and pitching cages, and weight and nutritional rooms for year-round use. As an increase in children and community involvement is to be expected, Pacheco Koch was brought on to provide traffic engineering services, including traffic management plans for athletic events on the 17-acre sports complex.
