Roanoke City Hall Plaza

Anchoring the southern end of downtown Roanoke, the new City Hall and plaza provide a place to relax and let kids play. The steps of the City Hall plaza double as a stage for events. The splash fountain creates a fun place to cool off and, depending on the occasion, can be turned on or off as required.

Shade is provided by the trees and the pergolas wrapping the space. The placement of artificial turf in the space allows for year-round, heavy use, even after heavy rain showers. This multi-use public space will be a highlight of the downtown Roanoke experience for years to come.
